Military Moms & Families
Support for pregnancy and parenthood alongside deployments, reintegration, military culture, career demands, and the particular pressures military families face.
Military family life asks a lot. You might be navigating pregnancy while your partner is deployed, bringing home a newborn after a PCS move, or parenting solo for months at a time far from family. You might be a service member yourself, balancing a demanding career with motherhood. And through all of it, military culture can carry an unspoken message: be strong, adapt, don't complain.
You can be strong and still need support. Military moms and families face real, unique pressures, and they deserve care that understands them.
Strength and support were never meant to be opposites.
This work is personal
Our founder, Meghan, has served 17 years in the Army and Army Reserve, including deployment. She knows military culture from the inside: the pride, the pressure, the unspoken rules, and the expectation to push through no matter what. And she'll tell you that, even with all of that, motherhood has been the hardest thing she's ever done.
With us, you won't have to explain the acronyms, the moves, or why "just ask for help" isn't that simple.
What military moms and families often carry
- Pregnancy, birth, or the newborn months during a deployment or training
- Solo parenting, and the exhaustion of being the only one on duty at home
- Moving often, leaving support systems behind, and starting over again
- Reintegration after deployment, and adjusting to new roles and routines
- Balancing your own military career with pregnancy and parenting
- Isolation, or feeling like civilians don't quite understand
- Relationship strain from time apart, stress, and changing roles
- Pressure to keep it together and not ask for help
How therapy helps
Therapy offers a steady place in a life that often isn't. Together, we work to:
- Manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm through deployments and transitions
- Build support and connection, even after a move
- Navigate reintegration and changing roles at home
- Strengthen your relationship through time apart and back together
- Care for your own needs while caring for everyone else
- Adjust to parenthood alongside the demands of military life
How we work together
Our work is often informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), helping you understand the different parts of you: the part that holds everything together, the part that's running on fumes, the part that misses your partner or your old life.
We work with families connected to Buckley Space Force Base, Fort Carson, Peterson, and the Air Force Academy, and military families across Colorado.
