Founder & Therapist
Becoming a mother changed me in ways I never expected.
I was a high achiever who liked clear goals and knowing where I stood. Motherhood took that certainty away. It was one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life, and it surfaced things I had carried quietly for years. That's what drew me to perinatal mental health.
The road to and through motherhood rarely goes as planned: trying to conceive, infertility, loss, birth trauma, postpartum anxiety or depression. Underneath it all is matrescence, the profound shift of becoming a mother, as big as adolescence and almost never talked about.
Too many women feel they should simply be grateful and capable, so they struggle in silence. I want to create a space where the hard parts can be said out loud, without judgment, because when a mother is supported, the whole family feels it.
When a mother is supported, the whole family feels it.
Outside the therapy room, I'm usually outdoors: long-distance running, exploring Colorado, traveling, or lost in a good book. I've run marathons and served in the Army, but motherhood has stretched me like nothing else. I'm raising three daughters who keep me grounded, humble, and always learning.
